PHOTO & VIDEO SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

 

WWA YouTube Physique Sports Championships are judged using the official photos and videos submitted by each athlete.

 

Your submissions must clearly and accurately represent how you look during the official submission period for your competition.

 

All registered athletes will receive competition-specific submission instructions, including a unique show password that will be used to help verify that photos and videos were recorded during the required time frame.

1. MANDATORY POSE PHOTOS

 

Athletes must submit one clear photo of each mandatory pose required for their division.

​

For every mandatory pose photo:

​

• Your entire body must be visible from head to toe.

• Use the same posing and presentation standards required for your competition videos.

• Face the camera at the appropriate angle for each pose.

• Use a well-lit area.

• Use a clean, uncluttered background whenever possible.

• Make sure the photo is clear and in focus.

• Wear the required competition attire for your division.

• Do not use beauty filters, physique filters or other filters that alter your appearance.

• Photos must not be digitally altered, retouched or enhanced in a way that changes your physique or appearance.

 

The judges must be able to clearly evaluate your physique from the submitted photos.

2. SHOW PASSWORD VERIFICATION PHOTO

 

Registered athletes will receive a show-specific password for their competition.

​

You must submit one photo of yourself holding a piece of paper with the show password clearly written on it.

​

Your entire body, face and the password must both be clearly visible and readable in the same photo. You must be wearing the same attire you will be wearing in your submission video and photos.

​

This verification photo helps confirm that your competition photos and videos are recent and were created during the official submission period for that particular WWA YouTube Physique Sports Championship.

Do not share your show password publicly or with other athletes.

​

3. MANDATORY POSES VIDEO

 

In addition to your mandatory pose photos, you must submit one continuous video clip performing all of the mandatory poses for your division.

​

Perform the poses in the order provided by WWA.

​

Video Requirements

​

• Record with a smartphone or camera capable of producing clear video.

• Keep the camera stationary.

• Your entire body must remain visible from head to toe throughout the video.

• Record in a well-lit area.

• Use a clean and uncluttered background whenever possible.

• Make sure there is enough room to complete every mandatory pose.

• Wear the required competition attire for your division.

• Do not use filters that alter your appearance.

• Do not digitally alter or enhance your physique.

• Follow all WWA instructions regarding camera positioning and video format.

The purpose of this video is to allow the WWA judging panel to clearly compare and evaluate athletes using the same mandatory poses used at WWA LIVE competitions.

​

4. INDIVIDUAL POSING PRESENTATION VIDEO

 

Athletes must also submit a separate video of their Individual Posing Presentation.

 

Just as at a WWA LIVE competition, you will perform your four favourite poses as your individual presentation.

​

Your entire body must remain visible throughout the presentation.

​

This is your opportunity to showcase your physique and presentation before the judging portion of the competition.

​

5. YOUR STORY & SPECIAL THANKS — OPTIONAL

 

Athletes have the option of sharing their story and/or Special Thanks as part of the WWA YouTube competition presentation.

​

You may tell us:

​

• How you became involved in fitness or physique competition.

• Why you decided to compete in this WWA championship.

• What your journey to the competition has meant to you.

• Who you would like to recognize or thank.

• Anything else you would like viewers to know about your journey.

​

Option 1 — Video Message

 

You may submit a short video message telling your story and/or giving your Special Thanks.

​

Selected portions may be included as part of the completed WWA YouTube Physique Sports Championship presentation.

​

Option 2 — Written Message

 

If you would rather not record a video message, you may submit your story and/or Special Thanks in writing.

 

Your message can be read as part of your athlete presentation during the competition premiere on YouTube.

​

Submitting a Story/Special Thanks is optional and does not affect judging.

YOUR SUBMISSION CHECKLIST

 

Before submitting your competition materials, make sure you have:

​

• One full-body photo of each mandatory pose for your division

• One show password verification photo

• One continuous video performing all mandatory poses

• One Individual Posing Presentation video

• Optional: Your Story/Special Thanks video message

• Optional: Your Story/Special Thanks written message

IMPORTANT

 

Your photos and videos are your official competition presentation.

 

They must provide the judges with a clear, accurate and current representation of your physique during the competition submission period.

 

Photos and videos that have been altered to change an athlete's physique or appearance may not be accepted.

 

Additional competition-specific recording instructions, submission deadlines, file requirements and your show password will be provided to registered athletes.
